Marjeta Erjavec Avbreht has practised law since the very beginning of her professional career. She specializes in public procurement, intellectual property, consumer protection law, and media and advertising law.

In recent years, she has primarily advised clients on the management of public procurement procedures and provided legal support at all stages of the procurement process. She has participated in numerous procedures for major state infrastructure projects, providing clients with legal support in the preparation of documentation, the implementation of procedures, and contract implementation. She also works on legal challenges in public procurement procedures, including the preparation and submission of formal review requests contesting contracting authorities’ procurement decisions. In addition, she has extensive experience in preparing and reviewing various commercial contracts (construction contracts, FIDIC contracts, IT contracts). She regularly writes professional articles on public procurement and is also active as a lecturer at various training courses in this field.
